You can have their magic bands with no charging privileges on them.

You use cash for 'coins' on an arcade card. Slide the arcade card as they play to decrement their coins.

This is off topic:::: Last year we stayed at the YC during F&W festival. We were in Epcot at night buy England (the bathrooms and the phone booths) The gates were open and people with tickets were going into a building. Does anyone know what this is???? All the other times that I have been at Epcot this area is closed off.


Also, a friend of mine is staying off property (Bonnet Creek), they have AP's, will they be allowed to get Magic Bands and make FP reservations? I know not now, but in the future (they are going in Feb). What do you think??

I believe that AP holders will eventually be able to get MBs and use FP+

It seems that in the current test it is only people selected at the specific resorts that have valid park admission, but APs can be used as that

It is the World Showcase Events Pavilion. They use it for special events. We have been in there a few times. One of them was when they held a dinner for the runners the night before the marathon. I was never at F&W, but I'm sure someone who has been there can fill you in, if they happen by, that is.

We were there last week and they usually scanned ours. If I remember correctly, they let all of us in without scanning twice. Sometimes one band wouldn't work and they always let that person in!

We arrived and went to SAB tonight. When going to the pool, we were told that the scanners were not working but we just checked in so we had our MBs and Kttw cards with us so they just checked our cards.

Can you please make some changes to the Be Our Guest list? Due to more family coming, discounts and adding a day, DH and I will be staying at Beach Club now (instead of YC) October 18-25th. My parents will be at YC 19-23!

We've stayed at BC twice before, and would like a room near the secret entrance. My question is - are there stairs at that secret entrance? We're staying LV, but I'd prefer not to be on the first floor. We'd also like a full balcony, so does anyone know if that exists near the secret entrance for LV? Thanks so much, my head is spinning as we make all these changes!

Bumping up the second part of your question... I think others have posted that there are stairs convenient to the secret entrance end of the resort- can someone confirm?

Does anyone know if there are some lagoon view rooms with full balcony in that general area? My best guess is that in the hallway that runs between the Marketplace and the Secret Exit, you would find a room of that description.

Getting back to real life is not easy! I wanted to be sure to post the photos of our room since YC Deluxe room pics seem to be hard to come by. Please let me know if you have any questions about the room. It was CL, but on the 4th floor.

I have exciting news! I told you guys a couple months ago that my sister want to take my 3yr old nephew for 1st WDW trip & wanted me to go with them. I had a great dilemma as (even though I did buy an AP) my aunt I went in May & my husband & I have our fall BC stay. So to go go again this yr seemed outside my vacation budget. Well I found a great agency deal w/ a TA & my sister, my nephew & I booked this am a 12/4-12/8 WL trip! Even though it's not my beloved BC/YC, I'm so excited to go again, & try a new resort. The most exciting thing is to be with my nephew for 1st trip & see WDW in his eyes! I feel very blessed to go 3x in 2013!!

Room numbers seem to be a good way to describe locations at the resort since the hallways are usually well marked with signs to follow.

I don't know how much this helps, but we used the YC's quiet pool (I believe called the Admiral's Pool) in April when SAB was shut down unexpectedly, and it was a delight. It was so quiet, and really, really relaxing. I can't give you room numbers, but I found it easier to come by than the BC quiet pool. Just walk past the bell station and elevators off the lobby, past Fittings and Farings, and the signs are very, very helpful.

At BC, I often find the secret Epcot exit such a tedious walk, that we use the quiet pool as our Epcot shortcut. While it's more convoluted to find than the YC pool, it's still very well signed, and if you follow the signs, and just walk out towards the walkway, you're almost all the way to the bridge to Epcot.

Also, I believe that Couchy said that her GV room at YC was a quiet pool view. If these rooms are in fact considered GV rooms then they are a really lovely choice.

Just went down to get my morning tea in the YC lobby and the new mug program started today... Of course they let me use the one I already purchased but starting today only the new mugs are for sale. They are the save as the old ones except in new color lids and handles.

The best way to get to the villas pool is to walk in the main entrance of the BCV's and walk straight through that lovely sitting room, it kind of looks like a library, and through the double glass doors to the pool. It is a lovely pool and we really enjoy it there when SAB gets crazy busy.

We were told at check in they tried it but the WiFi need to be better, so they are working on it.

I would agree that the route to the BC pool is very well marked with signs along the way. Yesterday we were looking for SAB and followed the signs for the pool, mistakenly thinking it would take us to SAB. Oops! Anyway, there were clear signs that said "beach club pool" along the whole route. It is too convoluted to explain the route but basically you are following the outline of the building and it is a long way from the lobby.
