I went ahead and added on a Styrofoam cooler from Garden grocer, and if I end up with a fridge, I'll just chalk this up to the cheapest money I ever threw away at Disney!!! DH was teasing me cause I wasn't sure if I should risk adding it on or not..................he said "...seriously??? You are worried about $8.00 when the trip cost HOW MUCH???"

I am also checking out park hours for my trip, and can you believe that AK opens at 7:00a.m. on one of the EMH days!!!!

Which day? That would be a great time to be there especially for the Kilimanjaro Safari ride....early morning is supposed to be the best time!

I'm going to pick up a styro cooler too, in case my room in Aug doesn't have a fridge . I buy juice, yogurt and other breakfast stuff for mornings, so a fridge is pretty important to us. For a 12 day stay it would add a considerable cost to have to go out for breakfast daily too.

You are absolutely correct, the refrigerators would not be removed unless absolutely necessary. Do people really think Disney loves to have upset guests? Some act like Disney is doing it just to ruin their vacation. Rest assured they are doing their absolute best to get it taken care of with as little inconvenience to guests as possible.

I agree that it is not worth getting upset about, although I am disappointed I'd obviously rather everyone at Disney be safe. I'm just surprised that from what I have read they are sorting some of the values and mods first.

Especially the ones who have spent thousands of dollars on a once in a lifetime vacation! right?

Its amazing how upset people are getting over this. Unless someone has a medical need, how would lack of a fridge ruin anyone's vacation?! There are plenty of ways around it! A styrofoam cooler or soft sided cooler is a minimal inconvenience in the whole scheme of things.

Oh and when I referred to CL and the fridge issue, what I specifically was referring to was the fact that we don't have a need to store anything cold because of breakfast and beverages in the lounge. It would be *nice* to have a couple cold ones in the room, but there are always ways to work around that.

One more thing...I am grateful for the politeness of this thread. I feel very comfortable asking questions and bringing up issues here. Thanks!
