Stupid question - do you guys like the Disney Visa??? Is it worth it to have??? Please let me know - I would like to find any info out about it! THanks
cjhentschel- I love my Disney VISA because I know the rewards will go towards my Disney habit. I know others like cards that give a greater bonus or airline miles. The Disney VISA works for me. Since Jan 2004 we have accumulated over $1000 towards our upcoming trip. I charge everything I can and pay in full each month. I have bought our Cirque tickets (for 7) and MVMCP tix for 4 so far. Still have $200+ and earn more every month.
We used the Disneyvisa rewards for the free stroller in Disneyland twice. They said we could have up to two doubles for free (we only needed one). All I did was show the card.
I think the free photo is limited to one per account per day (not year) but will have to double check.
And to the person who was thinking about getting a Disney Visa, I had a code for 'friends' that came in my last bill which gave new card holders $50 disney dollars to sign up. I think I tossed it already but I will look, and maybe someone else has it still and can tell you the offer code... I think I got $25 when I signed up. It goes to your rewards card.
In yesterday's mail, I received a coupon for 15% off at the Disney Store when I use my Disney Visa. It seems like I'm getting so many offers in the mail from them lately. I was wondering if some of this is a result of the fact that I booked our trip and made the deposit using my Visa.
I have to double check, but I think I still have my "refer a friend" info at home.
We were at Epcot 8/1 and Mickey was dressed in the tux(red pants, white shirt, black jacket, & gold tie). Minnie had her red and white polka dot dress, and goofy was blue pants and orange shirt.
The back ground of the room is brown. Kind of like panel looking walls. Some of the pictures that we took were a little dark and we had to lighten them up. You may check one picture with your digital camera and see about using a low lighting setting and trying that. We just got our pictures back last night and they turned great !!
Have a great trip. I wish we were going back and we just got home.
It really isn't a room. It is a curtained off area. It was over by a bunch of video games. I just asked the first CM that I saw and he told us right where to go.
I am kicking myself because we went to Epcot several times and I had completely forgotten about this until our very last day (August 10th). We went in and got our picture taken with Mickey and Minnie (in their regular clothes) and didn't even have time to go pick up the free picture, although at least now we can purchase it from PhotoPass.
