and he complains about the food is cold and tasteless,too loud, parking is a bear, the heat, the sun is too bright, standing on black pavement and his feet are sore, too many people.....he says, "no one could even tempt me with one million dollars to stand in line for one hour for a 60 second ride"


i took him to a kiddie place in chgo about 20 years ago. i needed help with the 4 littles then. he whined more than the boys did. that is when i knew he couldn't make it at the motherland and darkside.

but we do have a wonderful marriage.
separate long trips keeps our marriage strong.......


i don't take him for fun in orlando or to my mothers. he whines there also, he gets bored and he hates to lose an arguement with her

and he doesn't take me to "ride across america" bike trips. that's where you ride your bike all day and then camp on the ground at night in a little tent you take along. and it goes on for about 10 days.

mac, your husband sounds like my brother and his wife. They turn their noses up at a trip to Orlando, but went biking one summer across North Carolina. This year, they are following the Tour de France. I was so annoyed that we had to waste serious vacation time and funds for their wedding in Kauai. They had a great time snorkeling, bungee jumping, ziplining, and snorkeling. Mike and I were annoyed there wasn't a roller coaster in sight. That sucked.

My son has no interest in going anywhere where there isn't a coaster. We have to plan our vacations around them. However, he does want to stay in the bridge suite at Atlantis.

Me too! It's a bargain at $25,000 a night. Didnt they just complete yet another addition? That place is amazing and I could forgo ONE Universal trip to check it out. Atlantis is like it own theme park so that has to count. Maybe we could request a coaster.
