Don't mess with the Bull...she is going to WDW!

Hi, so in my house I am known as the "Bull" by my husband. Which bascially means I won't take any nonsense, ceratainly not from the kids Its all in jest of course but since I am going a little crazy over this trip and the planning I figured it would certainly work for my Pre-trip title.

Here we are 5 days out from visiting the happiest place on earth and I am on boarder line panic mode.... Let me introduce myself and the crew.

Me, (the Bull) 33 year old Brit living in the US and stay at home Mom of 3 kids.
DH, known hence forth as Oscar (he's sometimes grumpy like the grouch).
DS 8, DD 5 and DS 3 who as a side note just went into underpants 2 weeks ago and I wonder why I am stressed (if I come up with side kick names I will add em later on).
Oh and lets not forget Grandad (my Dad) who is arriving from England on Thursday to make this trip with us.

I stink at spelling and Grammar so don't expect too much, this will be my first attempt at any kind of report and I will need help encouragement and advice on how to post pictures...so here goes.....Wish me luck.

Last year my Dad took us to WDW after my Mum had died suddenly for a family trip she always wanted us to take We had such a great time we decided to go again and asked him if he could brave it with us and he said "yes". Which is how we find ourselves a few days out from departure. We are leaving on Saturday Morning at some unearthly hour (5am) and heading for Logan airport to head south. Yey for us.

We plan to arrive around 10.30am and enjoy the wonders of DME which the kids just LOVED before. I will admit I liked this too.


We are staying 8 glorious nights at SSR in a 2 bedroom villa....go us!! And I am super excited!!!!!!!!

Here is my plan:

WDW 2009



Saturday 2nd May
Leave Boston 7am - arrive Orlando 10.30am
Travel to resort, check in, dump baggage. Eat if hungry.
Off to EPCOT
Eat at Tangerine Café

Sunday 3rd May
Get up and head to Animal Kingdom
Take bus to MK for dinner at Chef Mickey’s 5.05pm

Monday 4th May
Hollywood Studios
12.10pm Sci Fi Dine In
Hang out till we drop, then to resort to eat dinner and swim
Maybe Downtown Disney in Evening
Managed to secretly get DD into BBB for a 6pm "crown Package"

Tuesday 5th May
Magic Kingdom
8.25am Cinderella’s Royal Table
Nap
EPCOT
Le Cellier 5.15pm
Watch fireworks

Wednesday 6th May
1900 Park Fare 6pm (Grand Floridian MK)
Note no plans we will get to that


Thursday 7th May
No plans here either Tourguides has a lot to answer to
Hollywood Studios at 4.25pm (Fantasmic Pkg)
Stay for Fireworks/show


Friday 8th May
10.05 Cape May Café
Day at EPCOT
Dinner at Kona 6.35pm (Poly MK)
Watch fireworks on beach


Saturday 9th May
FREE DAY
Dinner at Turf Club (Our resort) 7pm


Sunday 10th May
Get up, pack up and come home.
Breakfast at SSR
11am Flight to Boston


Now I am going to go and see what else I should be telling y'all....

What no-one wants to say "Hi"



Now as I wonder what I should be doing right now, I panic that the little guy isn't going to manage keeping his undies dry..... This will mean carrying clothes....AAAhhhhhhhhh This is going to be more stuff than diapers last year.

Tomorrows to do list:
Find VB hipster, see how much will fit?
Print off all materials for flying
Clear out wallet
Laundry
Start pulling together backpacks for kids
Check baggage allowance
Call Grandad

Oh forgot I have 2 days left to plan out, kind of.

Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th May

Originally we were going to AK on wed and HS on thursday, after reading all the crowd predictions I was thinking of switching these. At least for the main part of the day and doing HS on thursday after nap/swim for our Fantasmic package which I am streesed over since there is no seperate enterance and its only on 2x this week expecting it to be NUTS!!!!

What a great pre-trippie. I can't wait to hear about your trip.

I'm surprised you waited so long into your trip to visit MK. Is this based on touring plans and ADRs? That is usually our first park. There's nothing like walking down Main Street and seeing Cindy's castle.

DD5 will absolutely love the BBB. So now when you walk into WOD and she asks if she can get her hair done...you can reply "Yes!" What great fun!

Are you packing pull-ups just in case? How has DS3 been doing over the last two weeks? How brave you are to tackle Disney with a newly trained DS.
