I did Thunder Mountain - screamed the whole way on the most timid roller coaster at WDW
I did Splash Mountain and closed my eyes & held my breath on the way down the 10 second water drop.

So is Slinky Dog fast ? Too bumpy ? Big drops?

Please tell

Uhhh. I don't think TM is the most timid coaster at WDW. I think Slinky is supposed to be closer to between Goofy and Seven Dwarfs.

Edit to add: This POV video looks a lot like a tame Goofy's Barnstormer. More of an experience than a thrill ride.

Big Thunder is not the most timid. While I'll say it's a kiddie coaster, Barnstormer and 7dmt are both much milder than BT.

Slinky does not look fast at all, but I hope I'm wrong and it's faster than it looks. It looks about the same as 7dmt from what I've seen.

Literally no one on these boards can say for sure because it’s not open but it looks to be squarely in the kiddy coaster genre.

No one on here has ridden it (that we know of at least), but there are videos of the ride that can pretty much answer OP's questions

Fast: doesn't appear to be. Looks on par with 7dmt

Too bumpy: it's very smooth

Big drops: doesn't appear to be any big drops at all. It has a downward embankment but it's coming off a lift so it doesn't take it fast with the back of the car pulling it.

Looks pretty slow and boring tbh lol. We are still going to ride it because it's new, but I really wish they would hurry up in adding Tron.

BTMM is hardly timid.

Many people scream on it. Many people close eyes and hold breath on splash. In case you sisit know.

I’ll give you a hint though. Instead of holding breath, if you let out your breath slowly but forcefully (like in a scream) it helps calm the stomach drop feeling and can make rides more
comfortable and less physically scary.

7DMT is IMO the tamest coaster. I love it. I like BTMRR but not to do over and over. I've done Barnstormer only once but think it is "scarier" because it is on a bare metal track up in the air (as opposed to built into a mountain like 7D and BT).

SDD honestly makes me nervous because of that "bare track in the air" thing. And I've seen a moment in a video that looks like it has kind of a curving drop I'm iffy about.

It's going to be next year at the earliest before I'm there, so I'll be watching/reading tons of first-person reports once this opens.
