Dont' laugh.. what is a Dole Whip?

Yummy pineapple goodness. That's what a Dole Whip is.

LOL.

It's pineapple flavored soft serve ice cream. You get it at the juice stand in front of the Enchanted Tiki Room.

Many people actually get a Dole Whip Float with the ice cream in pineapple juice, but I personally don't like those. I just like my plain Dole Whip.

Mmmmmmmm Dole Whip, I can't wait to have one next trip! YUM!!!! There are those who love and those who hate it, I would be one who loves it! DD9 and I share a Dole Whip, DBF has a Dole Whip float and I have a drink or two of his pineapple juice, DD12 is one who hates them. LOL

It is an airy light soft serve dessert. I dont know if there is dairy in it. I don't think so. It is pineapple sweet and a little tart. Not sweet tarts tart, just enough . It tastes like pineapple. Real pineapple , not "pineapple".
Some really enjoy it, and some can not stand it. I personally love the dole whip. Especially during the summer hotter days. It is so refreshing.
The dole whip float is also a delight. It is the dessert served in a larger cup, with pineapple juice. If you start to hum "Tiny Bubbles" while eating this, you may have become a Dole Whip fan.

Just to answer that, there is casein in it. They say "no dairy" as some cute marketing ploy, but to a person who actually wants to or has to avoid ALL dairy, they will need to avoid the dole whip.

They are so good, you should give one a try. The last few times we have gone to DL it was too cold for me to get one so I am looking forward to our Sept trip so I can enjoy a nice cool treat!
