It says in the skies above Disneyland...are those fireworks? If so..that's awesome because we're going next week and the park is closing at 8 so I thought there would be no fireworks. I'm bummed because there will be no Fantasmic while I'm there.

Yes, this is the new fireworks show for the Halloween season.... They are very cool! must watch from main street though to actually get the full effect. They have a little show of sorts to go along with fireworks.

This is the first year they are doing nightly fireworks during this season.

Thank you thank you IBLarsen! This makes me so happy!!! I'll stake out my place on Main Street for sure! Any ideas where the best view would be from there?

You want to either be directly in front of the castle, or off to the left. If you go to the right side of the hub, the trees block your view of an important part of the show.

You will want to get as close to the hub as possible... if you have to take a spot on main street, I would say get a spot on the right as to not allow the trees to block the show as much. I hope you enjoy it! I got to see them three times. They are amazing!

We did have a spot on the Hub right in front of the castle, just slightly to the left. I do have to say though that when everybody stood up, the kids can't actually see anything, because we were so close. It was great, don't get me wrong, but keep that in mind if you have little ones, you will likely have to hold them up for them to see. I kind of wish they would let those in the front of the hub sit down.

You can also get a good view of the fireworks from the Rivers of America, but you will not be able to see any of the other effects. Including a moon floating by the castle in which Jack Skellington and Several Disney Villains appear to bring the show to life. They also bring back the flame cannons in front of the castle that they uses in RDCT. It is better from Main street and the hub, but if you see it a second time it can be viewed from ROA.

Awesome! I appreciate all of your comments. I can't wait! As my daughter says..."only two more sleeps until we go!"

DD and I just saw Halloween Scream last night and loved it!!

I think it is one of the best fireworks shows we have seen at Disney. Ofcourse, it helps that dd and I are into the villians this year, lol.
