I will be traveling to disney with 2 other adults, me and my fiance are paying for the trip..were very close to the other 2 adults(which we r surprising)..they have never been to disney b4 we have..since were paying for the whole trip im trying to save on as much as i can so we have more for other things..we really dont mind sleeping in the same hotel room all together but i wanna make sure we can be somewhat comfortable...i was looking into moderate resorts for 6 nights its $1142 for all 4 of us in 1 room, if i get 2 rooms at POP its $1284..only a difference of $142..Im torn on what to do because i feel the moderate would be better for adults, but for $142 we can have two bathrooms and way more space(hopefully we could get joining rooms, if possible)..i really had my heart set on the moderate now i dont know what to do..im back and forth in my mind, POP does have the lake atleast to walk around thats relaxing but then again there is gunna be construction on the other side of that lake(could b noisy?)...i dunno what to do ughhh, would love some input!

I personally would go with the 2 rooms! I like having more bathroom space! But some of your mods have 2 sinks, so they only thing you guys will be competing over would be the shower.
I think its so sweet and wonderful that you are willing to pay for your friends' trip! Do you friends know you are planning all this? Maybe ask their input on the room situation?
Good luck and have a great time

As much as I love the moderates, I'd go with a value and 2 rooms also. :) What a nice thing to do!!!

Have to confess, I'd go with 2 rooms, too. If you feel cramped or crowded (and 4 adults in a room will), it may put a damper on the whole vacation. At least if you have your own rooms, that won't be an issue. You'll still have fun in the parks and can relax in your own room after a long day.

Yep, as much as I prefer the mods, in your case I'd actually go for the 2 rooms at Pop. After all, how much time will you realistically be spending in the room other than to sleep, shower, and change clothes. And how much time were you planning on being at the resort instead of the parks?

Actually, that last is probably the most important. If you ARE planning on spending a lot of time at the resort: in the pools, restaurants etc will the value resort be enough for you? If so, then you're good.

Have you discussed this with your fiance? The other consideration is the beds: you OK with sharing a double bed instead of a queen?

I can't even imagine sharing a room with another adult couple. Kids - yes. Adults - it's not even a possibility with me. Everyone needs some privacy, no matter how close/well you know each other.

I'm voting for the 2 separate rooms...

Having had many WDW Trips with 3 kids.... I realized early on that the "Break Downs" could often occur when so many people are sharing one bathroom.

I started thinking about the "price" we were paying for taking 2 hours (I exaggerate... but NOT MUCH with 3 kids) to get ready in the morning...

DS always has to take a morning shower, myself as well.. mix in one other person and 2 others who just need a few minutes... and it's...

well - hard to coordinate.

Also speaking from experience... I would think after so much time together..everyone will need some "space" at some point.

Have a Magical Trip !

First I would like to tell you how absolutely sweet and thoughtful you are to surprise your friends with their first trip! I sincerely hope they love every moment of the trip and appreciate how blessed they are to have friends like you. :goodvibes

Of course, I'm in agreement with everyone else - definitely get two rooms. :thumbsup2 Everyone needs some downtime and privacy, and you're not going to get that staying in the same room. It only takes one of "those" moments to set off a chain of events that could essentially ruin the entire trip - not worth it at all since you have the option of having separate rooms!

Good luck in making your decision, and I hope you all have a fabulous time!!!
