If I but a 10 day hopper with water parks and more and then after having used some of the "& more" options we decide to upgrade to an annual pass it the price I paid for the 10 day minus the value of the plus option used deducted from the AP cost?

Just trying to be aware of my options...and the AP will be a last minute decision...

thanx!

If you use any of the plus options, you can only upgrade to a PAP. But the entire "gate price" of the 10-day hopper w/WPF&M will be applied toward the cost of a new PAP as long as you do it within 14 days of the first day of use.

The anniversary date will be one year from the day that you first used the MYW pass.

In other words, don't use the WPF&M part of your ticket, if you are planning to only upgrade to AP (and not PAP). You will get full credit for your MYW ticket including options, even for the park days that have been used. But in trade for full credit, your AP will have a start date the same as the date you started using your MYW ticket. When the upgrade is complete, check your new AP to see that the correct start date was applied.

Thanx! That's exactly what I needed to know and kinda what I thinght might be the answer...and I do not want to PAP just the regular AP...the PAP is way out of my price range and quite honestly, we would not get our money's worth out of the plus options there.

So my best bet is to either stick with the 10 day hopper with water park and more and find something else to do (like that'd be difficult right?) the non-ticketed days OR decide early on to upgrade and then budget in a night at Disney Quest and possily Blizzard Beach out of pocket.

Thanx again...

If you are booking a package, you get some vouchers in the mail before arrival. We were a party of two, and we got 2 vouchers for DisneyQuest and 2 vouchers for mini golf. Not sure how many vouchers you would get if your party was larger than ours was. And your ticker says 1 year from now, so things could change. But Disney has been giving away vouchers with packages for a number of years.

Oh yes, I am aware of all the goodies that come with the packages...packages are good! We are by no means newbees (well me and my kids aren't, Cary and Dylan are but they have no part in planning unless I give them options to choose from later on down the line) but it has been a very long time (it will be over 4 years by the time we get back!) so it sure does feel like I am! And we've never done an upgrade in tickets...we always either went in with APs or we used hoppers...not even a thought to upgrade so my need to plan something is going crazy right now! So many new things going on since we were there last.

Do you remember, were the DQ vouchers an amount off the cost or B1G1 or what? I don't think those were ever included before...if they were it wasn't something we noticed. But the boys are video game freaks and Dylan has never been to someplace like that so I think it is definately a must do for us so I just gotta decide how to go about that!

Thanx for yout help!

I already threw the vouchers away but as I remember, one voucher covered one person's entry cost. Like I said, not sure if each reservation got 2 vouchers, or if each person on the booking got 1 voucher. I'm thinking it's 2 vouchers per booking. So if you had 4 people, 2 would be paid for, 2 others not covered. Entry to DQ covers everything (machines) but not food/drink.
