Hi everyone. My family is going to Disney in a couple of days and had a question. A couple of us are thinking of going to Disney Quest, but don't have the Water Parks & More option on the tickets. We don't want to add it either since we'd be paying more for options we won't use than just normal admission. So we found a couple of old tickets that we had saved- Park Hopper Plus (from before MYW) that each have at least 1 option left. We know Disney Quest wasn't an option then, but would it count now? I'm thinking definitly not, so if it's not, would we get any money from them if we 'upgraded' our MYW tickets to have Water Parks & More option? There are no days left on the Park Hoppers, just options.

Oh, and also, if we have a 7-day MYW w/ Park Hopper option, do we have to buy the 5option Water Park & More that is the option related to 7day, or would we be able to buy the 2option, even though we have a 7day. I'm thinking this is a no too.

TIA!! :bounce:

Water Park Fun costs the same no matter how many days are on the ticket, that is the (now) six-option (only choice) for a 7 to 10 day ticket costs the same as the 2-option (only choice) for a 1 or 2 day ticket.

Pre-2005 tickets with lefover plusses cannot be used at Disney Quest.

Pre-2005 tickets cannot be traded up towards newer tickets (effective 1/1/06).

If you are making Disney Quest visits on two different days (or one Disney QUest and one other plus visit) the Water Park Fun is worth it.

Ok, thanks! I didn't know you couldn't put old tickets towards the cost of new ones. We're only going to Disney Quest once, and no water parks, so it wouldn't be worth it to buy anything other than just the $40 DQ entry because with the 5options, only one would be used and we're not buy no expiration, so it'd be a waste of the other 4 options. Thanks for the info!!

You can get reduced priced DQ tickets from places like Ticketmania, Maple Leaf, etc. You'll save about $8 per ticket from buying them at WDW.
