50 Days!!!!!!!! SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Love those cuties and their excited faces next to the paper chain!! Paper chains are fun I've decided! We love tearing one off and counting each day!!!

Oh! A skirt?!!!!?! Fun!!! I can't wait to seeeeee! Her cupcake is Peter Pan right? It's been a while!

I LOVED five below today! So much fun stuff!! I didn't really buy much bc I was feeling overwhelmed and I didn't have much spending money on me. I mentor a local 15 yo girl and I had taken her to the outlet mall that was nearby, so that's why I stopped in to check it out! I was very impressed! So much frozen stuff!! Each girls picked one thing, and we got some snacks for the long drive home. I really wanna go back with the hubs!

I am so flipping excited Lori!! Today I tried to see what was available for FP again on our arrival day and I found what if originally wanted! So now everything is just perfect for us! I couldn't be happier, well I could, in about 53 days! ))))

oh yes, maddie says she needs a green skirt for her peter pan cupcake shirt. she reminds me every day we need to go to the "favric" store. i'm going to try to make a skirt with shorts under it, without a pattern. we'll see how it goes....

5 below is overwhelming! I usually like to go without kids so I can look all around.

i'm so excited you got to change your fastpass stuff! hey--do you know how to do this? I cancelled rich's FP for ETWB since he won't be there for that. I wanted to change it to something else later in the day, but now that I've cancelled that one, it won't let me add anything for him. do I have to wait until we get there? I've never tried to schedule different stuff for the same day and thought maybe I was missing something.

Uh oh, it's countdown chain time! That can only mean one thing - time is almost here! Especially if you're already checking in, wow, that's soon!!

it is getting close! we are mostly flying southwest, but DH is coming down on American. i'll take our luggage so he won't have to check any bags since there is a charge on American (I think) but not on southwest. hopefully i'll be able to manange bags and kids until we get checked in. thank goodness for magical express and free bags on southwest!

more exciting news--I made another ADR!! When I was looking at plane tickets last night I decided to get a flight that lands us in Orlando and to the resort about 5. I was thinking we'd just eat at POP that night, but got to thinking....knowing myself and traveling with the girls alone, I'm probably not going to want to do the whole buffet/stand in line/carry your tray thing that night. I got to wondering where we could go for dinner that is a sit down but not expensive (since I'll pay for this meal OOP) place. I also sort of wanted something new for us but not at DTD. I looked through the list of places and found the perfect spot--

BEACHES AND CREAM!

The restaurant looks fun, the food looks like things the girls will eat without complaint, everything seems reasonably priced, and they had a 7:50 time available. Best of all--it's at beach club!! We've never been and I'm so excited to look around and experience the wonderful smell! (Weird to be excited about a smell, but what are ya gonna do? ) now, we just have to decide if we should attempt the kitchen sink.....

You can "change" a fastpass. But if you "cancel" it it's gone.

That will be a nice little time for you three, I am sure!

I never canceled anyone's FP, I only changed them so when I would take one of us off a ride, it would just assign them something by themselves and then I would change that to be what I wanted it as. Does that make sense? You may just need to book him a 3rd there?

Last time we got the kitchen sink and made quite the dent in it with 4 adults, 5 year old, and one year old but didn't come near finishing it.
This time we are thinking of getting it again and seeing if with 4 adults, an 8 year old and 5 year old it will make any difference!

I didn't take notes as I was catching up and now I wish I would've cause I know I'm gonna forget something....

First off, I just want to say that I CAN'T BELIEVE that we have not made an official dismeet plan! We are supposed to meet up with Terri at characterpalooza and since you will also be there I will be meeting you then. BUT, as I read through your plans I realized that we are going to MK the same day as well!!!!! That will be our very first day in Disney world EVER! We have fp for enchanted tales between 10 and 11....I think that overlaps with yours..........just sayin

I LOVE all of your projects! I envy anyone that can sew! I can by hand but I don't have much time to try to learn on a machine and it's probably better that I don't. I already have too many projects to do!!!! hahahaha

I don't know if you have found anything for the elsa hair yet but on my pinterest is a pattern for ice/flower hair clips with felt. We are doing them for our frozen movie night this weekend. I would be happy to send you some if you want to PM me your address. And if not, you could always get it off of my pinterest!

ok everybody, except for shoes and something for Madison's hair......anna and elsa costumes are DONE!!

of course, here are some pics.....

anna dress and clip for hannahs hair with the white hair. the clip might be my favorite part! I know it's not exactly anna's dress, but it's the right colors and Hannah really likes it. she wanted some pink on it, that's why the flowers and pink are there.





maddie's elsa dress. she loves it. I like how the back turned out but I wish I had made some of the snowflakes a little smaller. she even got the hand gesture down!





I decided the front was too plain and needed something, so I cut a little slit in the front and added some of the extra white fabric from her sleeves and the back. I like it much better now and maddie absolutely adores it! yay!



and now I can cross that off my to do list! I had plans to get maddie's peter pan skirt sewn today, but we ended up going out for lunch and then to this totally delicious coffee shop and to city garden downtown. city garden is a sculpture garden where the kids can climb on everything. there's also fountains they can play in. the kids had a blast and got soaked! then rich paid for us to take a horse drawn carriage ride. it was so fun and so sweet of him! so, that took up my extra sewing time today, but I think i'm going to get stuff cut out so I can put it together really quick tomorrow. soooooo, stay tuned for some more pictures tomorrow hopefully!

thanks! I was feeling pretty inspired with the clippie! I got the idea for the back of the elsa dress from one of your pinterest posts, i'm pretty sure. it's just interfacing that I cut out and ironed onto the fabric. so easy and worked so well!

i'm super excited about beaches and cream and maybe getting to see some of illuminations when we're done! it's getting so close!

believe it or not I think i'm finally done with the sewing!! well, Disney sewing anyway....

I finished up the last autograph pillowcases.



I also finished up the skirt for maddies peter pan shirt. we picked out the fabric without the shirt and I think maddie chose a winner! it wasn't hemmed yet in these pictures, but this was the only time I could get her to try it on and stand still.



I attached little bloomers to it so she can run around and not have to worry about showing mickey her undies! I just winged it without a pattern and was pretty happy with how they turned out!



here it is all finished and with her shirt (don't worry, I washed the marker off her shirt after I took this picture)



whew! maybe I should get some laundry and cleaning done now....
