Don't give up on hard to get reservations

We are at the World right now. Last night I was looking for a place to have dinner tonight (Friday) or Saturday. To my surprise, both Chef Mickey's and Le Cellier were available for tonight!
I then checked at few other times for those two days and there was a CRT reservation available for Saturday breakfast.
We ended up canceling a couple that we had and got an Akerhus for Saturday.
So, if you are striking out on any of the hard to get places, try a day or two before and you might have success. People will cancel at those times so they aren't charged a fee when guaranteeing with a credit card.

I am hoping to move our 7pm dinner ressies at CRT to ANYTHING earlier (but still dinner) that day.

DH booked surprise Feb. trip a week or so ago..so, no 180 for this trip but I have been trying daily to get BOG res. Today!!! I got dinner reservations~and at our preferred time!!!
BTW,
I noticed every single day between 25 Feb and 2 Mar. CRT and Cellier had dinner availability

Yesterday afternoon I called and got a reservation for Ohana for that same night.
