Don't give up calling!!!

So about a month ago, hubby decided he wanted to go to Vero on 6/24 for 5 nights to see his family that lives there. Well I looked at him like he was crazy! Called asked for ANYTHING! Inn, Studio, 1,2, or cottage! Had the points! Could get nothing! So just left it at that.

This morning, hubby asked me to try again! I was like, are you crazy! I have too much to do, but fine, I will call! SURPRISE!!! I was able to get 4 out of the 5 nights in a studio! Sure I would prefer an ocean inn! but hey I can't be too picky!! What I found odd, was the only night I couldnt get on points - SATURDAY! go figure, usually that is all that is available! So waitlisted for that night, and also for an ocean inn! so cool! Even better - I got non-stops out of White Plains for 219 a ticket! I love this kind of planning, and there will be no wait! now I just need the rental car from Orlando and we are all set!!!

Happy for you!

You give me hope as I have been trying for the last 6 weeks to book a 1 bedroom at any DVC on points for 6/23 - 6/26 and have had no luck and I have called almost every day and sometimes more than once in a day.

I did get the 23rd and the 25th at OKW but had to book for cash on the 24th. I have been waitlisted but so far nothing has come through. If the 24th comes through on points I will be happy but would take anywhere for the three nights in a row using points.
