Greetings

I would like to pick the brains of you experts.

I currently have a 1 bedroom BCV from 11/14-21 and am very excited. My work schedule could allow us to go on 11/12.

My DD9 would love to stay at the contempory for the two days. I check disney res and no way. I check travelocity and they have contemporty availablity, but a 3 day minimum.

Will the rooms be returned to disney for booking and when?
Is there any other travel sources I should be tring?

Thanks in Advance

Try www.mousesavers.com to see if there are any discount codes still available for the dates you want to stay. If not (and unfortunately that's probably the case), I'm afraid you will have to pay whatever Disney CRO is charging. The number of discounted rooms is limited and they book very quickly - usually within a few days of when the codes are first announced. It is not uncommon for the online booking engines to have minimum stay requirements.

Maybe you could just plan a visit to the CR for your daughter this time. If you do, make sure to ride the resort monorail into the CR. (You can pick it up at the MK or the TTC). It is fun to get off inside the resort! You might consider a breakfast or dinner at Chef Mickey's or even watching the MK fireworks from the 4th floor observation deck - believe this is on the same level as the monorail station and Chef Mickey's. Perhaps a visit will satisfy your daughter for now. Try to find out why she wants to stay there - maybe after she gets a look at SAB (the CR pool isn't very impressive), the desire to stay at the CR will go away, LOL!

Another option is to use some of your DVC points to stay at the CR. It's pricey though, so you may not want to do that.

Best wishes -

WDW resorts free up blocks of rooms. I had this issue many times. Just keep trying different ways and times. Even is the same day I had changes in room availiblity. I think they are trying to push people to go to a different resort (better margins, less crowded...)

Just one additional piece of advice. If you are an AP holder, make sure you get the discount. I have found the discount to be like 40% at times.
