We put on sunscreen just before leaving for the airport. Sure some of it may have worn off...but something is better than nothing.

If you are flying, don't forget your photo ID. I forgot to pick mine up once and we had to drive a long way back to get it. Luckily we weren't leaving until the next day.

I always pack 2 or 3 'chip clips'for any snacks that we buy.
Here's something you should NOT bring - every credit card you have. Bring one and have your spouse bring a different one in case it gets lost or stolen.

I use the hand sanitizer too. I put that on after wiping off any mess.

I am also packing the battery operated misting fans for this trip. I have never had them for any park trip because we normally go in Nov. or Dec. This will be our first trip in the heat.

I packed dry laundry detergent in individual ziplocs so that when I washed clothes, I just opened a bag and dumped it in. It was a little safer than packing liquid and cheaper than buying it. Also, a stain remover was helpful.

Also, a little dish detergent would have been nice for the disposable cups. We forgot it this year.

If you are planning to get character autographs, bring the Sharpies that click to open--not the ones with lids. I had more than one character "comment" on ours last week while we were there. I got a lot of extra hugs and thumbs up for having that kind of marker.

Make sure you bring extra Ziploc bags. We took the gallon size and it fit just about everything we needed. Use it for that extra popcorn that the kids don't eat so it lasts a little longer or for your camera, wallet, autograph book, etc on wet rides.

I carried a fairly large bag most days and I ended up putting all of the stuff we used for character greetings in a Ziploc INSIDE my big bag so that when we saw a character, I could just pull out the Ziploc and there was everything we needed.

Lots of the things I was going to mention have already been listed... the pop up hamper, extra ziplocks, some basic 1st aid things, phone charger.

I highly recommend extra shoes... I know they take up space - but it's important to switch off when you're doing so much walking - and it's also quite likely you'll get at least one pair wet, either in the rain - or on one of the wet rides (Splash or Kali). At the end of the day I like to toss a different pair on for hanging out at the hotel.

I don't know if you mentioned children - but if you have little ones - my son was helped by earplugs on the louder attractions... he could handle the ride part - just not the noise - they'd work for noise-sensitive adults too

If you wear contact lenses - bring extra - AND your glasses, at the end of a long day of being in the sun and in and out of attractions - I NEED to take out my lenses. Keep a written prescription for any medicine that might get lost... I find that my doctor is willing to write one for my wallet... just in case.

I usually toss a tiny sewing kit in my toiletry bag - and some safety pins.

We've brought along our laptop so we could download our pictures - but an extra card for the camera is much more portable.

I bring along the face clothes for washing my face - Dove and Olay make them - I just find them easier to bring along than anything I use at home.

When we drive, instead of fly - I have no space limitations so I usually toss in a few disposable plastic containers - I've tossed leftovers in them to put in the fridge - they also come in handy for little things that can get lost in your room. Again - when driving - I'll bring some food for the room and a bunch of water bottles.

And if your kids do bring a bed buddy, make sure you take it off the bed before leaving each time. It's likely to go into the wash with the sheets.

* Pepto and / or heartburn med's - never fails. With all the heat, and walking, and lack of sleep - I get a tummy ache mid day. Those chewable Pepto's are a god-send.

i don't know about you guys but anytime i take a shower i need to clean my ears out so i always have to have Q-Tips with me...last trip i took to Spain i forgot them and was a little mad about that lol thankfully my brother had brought some so in the end it all worked out hahah

I am a Q-Tip freak also. I pack a Costco size package for every trip and my wife always says we are only going for a week, but I gotta have them.

I don't think I saw these posted yet...

-Small pair of scissors (great for moleskin, opening packages, etc.)
-Extra bathing suit (nothing worse than putting on a damp suit that hasn't dried because of the humidity)
-A few clothespins for hanging up wet suites & towels (also doubles as chip clips)

I looked for these at Target over the weekend and I couldn't find ANY sunscreen at all, let alone sunscreen wipes. Any ideas where they sell these?

Brita water bottle filters! My best friend says the water is very STINKY, so I got these yesterday. Also, I know someone said babywipes, but make sure to get Huggies natural unscented. They will bring any stain(even ballpoint ink) out of clothes and are great for removing face paint and magic markers off of little ones. OR, ladies, you can get Pampers sensitive wipes and they are the best mascara removers I've found (can leave the makeup remover at home!). I just love all this planning!!!

if you have little ones, dont leave home without disposible bibs. I plan on putting them on DS1 for his mickey icecream, at snacks and meals. Use it & throw it away. I am also packing disposible placemats so DS1 doesnt eat off of tables (YUCK) (Since he is little, He would throw a plate onto the floor), so i put down a disposable placemat and he eats off of that.
