Don't do hand gestures on rides if you want the picture!

Well I was mad! I was so excited for my DD4 to ride Splash Mountain for the very first time. We were on the front row and I KNEW it would be a keepsake picture I would cherish forever. Don't know who on the ride did what, but our picture never showed. Too make matters worse, she hated the ride and won't even go near it now. I so much wanted that picture.

Some people just don't realize that their foolishness can be someone else's heartache.

It seems to me that they are stricter on Buzz than on some of the other rides. I have never encountered any issues except on Buzz about a month ago. The pic of my dd and I was "zapped by Zurg" and I couldn't figure out why. I really wanted to see it so they brought a manager over to unlock it for me. He informed me that it was zapped because it looked like she was standing up on the seat. WTH?! She is 3 and very small. She may have been standing on the floor of the car (which the manager agreed is perfectly fine) but she definitely was not standing on the seat. I would never have let her do that.
So, anyway...I just thought that was an odd reason to zap a picture, but according to the manager, any breaking of the rules (and this includes standing on the seat, I guess) constitutes the picture being deleted.
Oh well.

thats odd, I did a rockin' hand gesture (you know the index and pinkie finger up) in very clear view on ToT last Tuesday and I could see it.

In April my 2 DS's did this on a lot of rides & only on EE did they not post the picture. We had no idea that it would not post or I would not have allowed it!
We purchased RNR, Splash & they were doing the rockin' hand gesture on both.

I've done this tons of times (mostly on ToT and RnR) and never had a picture deleted. Hmmm....

I looked on our TOT pic from last year. There is a guy in the front row doing the same gesture (thumb and pinky). Also, all five people on the back row have their hands up beside their face and are making a face at the camera. I wonder how they decide what to let go through?
