I was hessitant after reading many threads about Alamo but thought how bad can it be? We are just picking up from the S/D and driving the next day to the airport. WAS I WRONG!!

We walked from YBC to get the van. I planned on leaving it there as we went to MGM. My 2yo was having a melt down so my parents ran ahead. I got there at 3:55 and my Mom says good luck getting your car the agent says she doesn't have it and she's leaving!

At the desk is a gentlemen from India(I think) begging the agent for his car that is reserve she tells him she's closed go to the Care care center. He has been asking for his car since 3:45. Now it is apparent to me what my mom was saying.

I ask for my car she loudly tells me she is out of here at 4pm today and thats it! Her daughter is more important then renting these cars. I was dumbfounded. I looked at her and asked can't you do this is takes all of 2 minutes. As this is happening my 2yo is in full battle cry. Nope no way. I ask for her name. She not going to give it to me. I ask for her managers name? Nope she won't tell me that either. I told her it was a wonderfiul example of Alamo/National custmer service. She calls some manger tells them she can't provide good customer service and leaves. Apparently she call security who has no idea what to do?

WDW guest relation CM which are directly across sat there dumb founded. A shuttle for us was arranged for us to the care care center I ended up having to rent a car seat which I didn't need and we fried about 3 hours of our day. The whole experience was surreal.

When we dropped off at MCO no one was there. 20 minutes later someone showed and had about 30 cars to check in. Many people just gave up and left.

WE have had Nationalin the past before Alamo was involed and never had a problem. Personally I think Almo had brought National down with them
I will only use dollar now. Live and learn!!

That is just horrible!!!!! Her name should have been on her pin.
Just a FYI, National and Alamo have always been sister companies. They just merged locations within the last few years. They also changed ownership in the last year or so.
