I have also been such a Donny fan since a girl.

Marie, not so much. She was a little to country to me.
A few years ago, someone here posted that she was seeing Donny in concert. I checked his website, and he was going to be appearing just several blocks away from me, about a month & a half later. Since, Marie hadn't done
Dancing With the Stars, yet, neither she nor Donny had made their comeback yet. The tickets were ultra cheap.
Only, I forgot to write down the day he would be in town and didn't remember to look again until about a week too late!

I had been kicking myself ever since.
Then, they had their Vegas show. And I have been so wanting to see that. I'm not into Vegas, but that would be the one show that I would make and effort to go see.
So, a few weeks ago, when I heard they were doing their show, HERE, several blocks from me, I was ecstatic.
I thought about getting the premium seats, as it would have been about the cost of a flight to Vegas. They had front row available at the time. But, overall, I just couldn't justify the extra $120 that premium seats were at $269 online, when I could get seats 12 rows back for $145 each. The ticket place online even has a new feature to pick your own seats out online now. So you can see what is available.
Here is the ticket place online that I kept looking at. Someone here turned me onto it:
http://www.playbill.com/events/listing/1.html
I kept watching and debating the seats. Premium or regular price?

I even saw that Row K, which was originally the last row of premium seats had dropped down to regular price and it was filling up fast, as the date for the show I want got nearer.
I just had a hunch. Usually, the box office always has seats they do not release to the ticketing agents. I also wanted to see if they possibly discounted the premium seats on the actual show day. I finally went to the box office, and talked to the box office guy yesterday. He said, yes,
always go to the box office as they can punch in and see whats available in a different way. Now, I got us 10th row center for regular price!
He didn't say they were originally the premium price, but I know from looking online that that's what they were going for there. Also, they were NOT listed online as available. So he DOES have other seats available that are not listed on line.
Now, if the box office guy had said there was a Meet & Greet here for an extra charge, I would have sprung for that. That would have made it worth the extra bucks.
Sharon, are you guys coming in on the 1st again? I remember you did that last year.
