You'd think that would be common sense, but the longer I live the more convinced I become that there is no such thing.

I feel bad for the man, but they really should not have to say "Please no jumping off the tram." I mean...come on...

My dad always said "Common Sense isn't very common" :goodvibes

Every time you ride a tram at WDW they make a point of saying "do not try to retrieve items that fall off the tram".

Sad that the man was hurt.

Sadly, he missed that part...

... or simply decided to ignore it.

You know, I was just commenting on this the other day. If you're familiar with those silica packets that come in shoes and other things you buy, they always say "do not eat." It's a world lacking in common sense that we have to write on something that isn't food not to eat it. But obviously someone has eaten it before and gotten sick or they would never have put the message on there in the first place. The tram is the same thing. You'd think you wouldn't have to announce not to jump off of it, but I guess not.

How many comlpetely IDIOTIC things can we think of to warn people about just on the tram line...

1) Warning: Do not jump from moving vehicle. Injury or death may result.

2) Warning: Do not step in front of moving vehicle. Injury or death may result.

3) Warning: Do not crawl under vehicle. Injury or death may result.

4) Warning: Do not grab stationary objects from vehicle. Tearing injury may result.

5) Warning: Do not pass objects or children from moving vehicle to stationary person. Injury, death, and/or property damage may result.

6) Warning: Do not attempt to board moving vehicle. Injury or death may result.

7) Warning: Do not attempt to exit moving vehicle. Injury or death may result.

8) Warning: Remain seated on moving vehicle. Loss of balance may result, causing injury or death.

9) Warning: Do not attempt to change rows or cars while vehicle is in motion. Injury or death may result.

10) Warning: Remain behind yellow line as moving vehicle approaches or departs. Injury or death may result.

11) Warning: Keep strollers, wheelchairs, and ECVs behind yellow line as vehicle approaches or departs. Property damage, or injury or death of occupant, may result.

That's all I can think of off-hand, but I'm sure there are more.

Don't attempt to eat moving tram?? J/K Actually I do hope the man is okay.
And I hope more people use common sense.

Maybe he thought it moved slower than it does...either way, it was stupid. It's like jumping out of your car. I hope he will be fine though.

My favorite warning comes on the hot cups at McDonalds. Caution: Contents are HOT. Duh, I ordered HOT chocolate.

The world is filled with stupid people. Just reminds me of an artical that I read about a week or two ago...Mike Judge created this movie about a a present day man who's some-what stupid/average and he travels to another world where there's nothing BUT stupid people and others think of the present day man as if he was Steven Hawkins. The movie is not being released because they did showings for the movie, EVERYONE IN THE THEATRE DIDN'T UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT!!! Stupid people don't understand that they're being made fun of. :lmao:

I'm sure everyone here has done something that in hindsight, was pretty dumb. It's just he did it at a critical time.
