done my homework - still dont know what to do - please advise - thanks

well thats really the point...I'm going to buy at the resort that has the best Grand Villa/harder to get...

I think AK looks great, but is not near any park

BWV look a little dated? Am I wrong?

BLT looks okay - any one stay at the gv there?

What are the thoughts about the GF grand villas? Plus do you ever think we could get it at 7 months?
Maybe just wait for Poly?

VGF will be the smallest DVC resort at WDW, so it's highly unlikely that you'll be able to get a GV at seven months there. The grand villas are themed to the resort, so BWV's GVs are themed to the 1920s Boardwalk feel, so it won't look as sleek and modern as BLT or AKV. OKW GVs will have that Florida-resort feel to them. I think you need to look at two things: point costs and location. Where do you spend the most time when you're at Disney? Is cost the biggest factor for you? These are all questions no one can answer for you.

In large part it's personal preference. Realize that at BWV or GF or even BLT it's not likely you'll be able to get one even exactly at 11 months out. Personally if this were my goal I'd either buy a fixed week at GF or plan the same for the Poly in a couple of years.
