donating left over points?

We have 7 points left over in 2007 use year. How would we donate them to something like make a wish? What # would we call? Thanks.

Presently, there is no mechanism available to accept a few extra points. Since non-members have no ability to use DVC points - only a reservation made using those points - even if you could transfer the points to a charity they would have no way to use them.

Some have made a reservation using their points and gifted that to an organization like Give-Kids-The-World or Make-a-Wish, but you can;t really even take a deduction for a reservation. The deduction would require donating your membership to the charity.

You could try to rent your points and then contribute the funds to the charity of choice.
