Donating DVC Points to Charity

I have 18 borrowed points that I won't use by the end of my use year that I would like to go to a good cause, does anybody know if Disney has a designated charity that I can give them to? I know 18 points are not a lot, but it would be nice if I could give them to a worthy cause.

What we did was called Give the Kids the World and gave a studio stay to a local volunteer.

This is amazing. 18 points is only good for one night, but that might be a nice getaway for a local.

Our son's high school had an annual auction and we would give a 3 night stay in a studio. The winner had to call me to make arrangements - within certain parameters of course. One year I actually had the winner buy a contract and I got a bonus of several hundred dollars for it which was totally unexpected. You might get two nights if lucky in an AKV value studio. Maybe some healthcare worker or first responder in the Orlando area could use it? I hope you can find a taker - so sweet of you

transfer rules limit giving the points themselves away but if you have the opportunity to book a night or two for someone deserving, that would be really nice of you.

it probably doesn't matter to you, but for reference, be aware that a gift of the use of a timeshare is not tax deductible. (if you eventually decided to rent a night or 2 for cash and donate the cash, that would be deductible...)
