Donating Cell Phones

We have three cell phones that we no longer need as we upgraded our phones. They all work just fine and have chargers for home and car. What organization can I donate them to? Thanks.

I just went into the Sprint store last weekend and they had a box for cell phone donations.

Thanks, we have service with Cingular and our store doesn't have one. I just hate to leave them lying around if someone could use them.

give me a minute or two to find the link - but about a year ago, I got off of these boards an organization that takes your old cell phone and gives them victims of domestic violence - I guess a cell phone does not have to be activiated in order to dial 911. This works well because then I abuser (usually a control freak) has no idea that the woman has this cell phone.

I even think they paid me $30 per phone.
