donating an easter basket, need help

I am making up a basket to donate in remembrance of my son who should have been 3 1/2 this easter. It has been a long time since I had a 3 yr old boy in my home. What would you put in the basket?

I'm so sorry for your loss. I think the donation is a beautiful thing to do in his memory. My 3 year old nephew loves Cars stuff and anything involving superheroes, Power Rangers, or Transformers. You could put in a DVD, playdough, temporary tattoos, books, Color Wonder stuff, a ball, and of course candy. Target already has out their inexpensive outdoor play toys, too.

In addition to the above list, how about sunglasses, crayons, Matchbox type cars, sidewalk chalk...

My DS is five but at 3 I would have put stickers, books (I LOVE putting books in) bubbles, sidewalk chalk.

well I got the stuff together, I got a big chocolate bunny and that was it for Chocolate, (junk food is cheap to buy). I got 3 coloring books, crayons, Cars stampers, playdough, bubbles, Cars plastic eggs with tattoos in them, mr potato head, lightening mcqueen race car, fruit snacks, pudding snack packs, land b4 time memory game, lightening mcqueen sandwich box, lightening mcqueen water bottle. and a sandbucket to place it all in. I am so happy to have done this. it feels so right.
