Can anyone tell me about Dona'd's Safari Breakfast? Is the food and character interaction good? How much time can we plan to be there?

the food is no better or worse than any of the other buffet breakfasts. I can't recall there being any specialties there, so just plan on having a normal breakfast.

character interaction is good, and they also let all the kids come out and dance with the characters

I would like to know how much time to plan as well I figured 45min-1 hour does that sound right for 2 adults w/ enought time for a quick pic w/ each character and probably 2 plates of food each??? thanks

jessrose18, that sounds about right. if you don't want the photo outside just let the hostess know. we have skipped that many times since we have one. the buffet has a few african flavored selections on it, but as noted it is mainly breakfast foods we are familiar with. enjoy:yay:

We enjoyed it in September and thought it better than most buffets. The character interaction was good. We saw Donald a couple of times. About an hour is right...45 minutes may be pushing it a little.

The food is standard breakfast: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, some quiches, a few African specialities. They also have cold fruit, cereal, granola, baked goods, etc. The eggs were really good, and I loved loved loved the chocolate croissants and apple muffins.

Donald and Mickey came by our table right away (after DD got to dance a conga line w/ Daisy), then Goofy and Daisy came by. All 4 characters cleared our section w/in 20 minutes of our being seated (I missed Goofy and Daisy b/c I was at the slow buffet line, but DD got to see both of them).

The only issue we had was the 30+ minute wait for our reservation. I had to go to the stand to see what was going on (parties of our size that had checked in after us had already been seated).

We think the food is better than average at this meal.

We think the character interaction is a bit under average here.

This is my son and husband favorite breakfast character meal...they have the best juice and coffee. The food selection is good and the set to get food is great...no long lines like CM. The character interaction is one of the better characters meal we have had (we went here 3x). My son loves the musical parade they have and I love that the characters are dressed in safari outfits. This is a must for my son...he already asked if he can go here for his next trip.

The food here was probably one of the best the whole trip. The character interaction was similar to other charaacter meals - they come around to your table.

We LOVE Donald's Safari Breakfast and it is a must for our family every trip. We try and get the 8:00am ressie and we are at rope drop for Kilimanjari Safari at 9:00.

We have eatten here 3 or four times and we really like good food, good juice , get the male waiter from new york he is bald and loves to take pictures of your family with your camera and the characters. we got a couple of really good ones with the whole family .
