Donald's Safari Breakfast

Hello,

I was wandering if anyone has eaten at Donald's Safari Breakfast and if they could tell me which Characters were there and how the food tasted? I was looking for a charachter meal that had Donald for DD13 who loves Donald, and Goofy for DS14 and DD7 that both love Goofy. If anyone could let me know who has been here before or if they could recommend something that would be great as well.

I was there a couple of years ago and Donald and Goofy were both there. Hope that helps. I always try to book Donald's breakfast because it seems to be difficult to find Donald. If anyone knows of any other character meals with Donald let me know.

We ate at Donalds Safari last year and both Goofy & Donald were there. The service was great and the food was pretty good, nothing spectacular. Both of my boys loved it!

Donald was also at Chef Mickey's for dinner when we went last September and I believe he is always there now, replacing the former chip and dale. So, now you see the fab 5 at Chef Mickey's....Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto. Chef Mickey's is a must do for us and we are so excited to be trying Donald's Safari Breakfast as well this September, especially to see Dasiy , one of dd'd favs!

It is different now that they have moved to Tusker House... Mickey, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy are there (no more Pluto)... The buffet selection and set-up is different... There is more to choose from and there are several stations instead of the one long table.... The servers are very good.... And the food is also good... Down side is that the tables are really close together and the place is very loud... We did not like being sooooo close to the next table and it was hard to have a conversation.... The tight fit made it hard to interact with the characters... We did like the addition of the parade like event that takes place every 45 minutes or so... That was fun because we paraded around with noise makers and Goofy!!! They also made it so you have to take your picture before you go in... The picture came out nice but we don't like that you are kind of forced to do it... I guess you can say no but we didn't.


Donald is at also at Chef Mickey... He does NOT come to the tables... He stands near the front and you can wait on a short line to take a pic with him.

Yes he does. He came to our table and to all the other tables on our visit.

We were at CM for dinner in Februrary and Donald came to our table.

We were at Chef Mickey's for breakfast in Oct. 2007 and Donald came around to all the tables - he even made it to ours twice! All the characters came around.

We ate their in December and loved it. The food was good, especially the bacon! LOL

Anyway, we saw a lot of the characters twice during our visit. We would go back again.
