Donald's Character Breakfast - getting in ?

Hi all

I got ADRs for the new Donald breakfast at AK for 8:05 AM! i have never done a character breakfast or a meal inside the park before it opens. How do you get into the park if it is not open? How early should I leave from WL?

When you arrive at the gates, there is someone with a clipboard who checks your name off a list and allows you to enter before the park opens. I'm sorry but I don't remember how long it took to get to the park from WL. We decided to drive our rental car because we thought it would be quicker, but I still don't remember how long it took to get there! Enjoy, I hope the new character meal is better at Tusker House. We were dissappointed at the old one, the food was fine, but they really rushed the characters through. But I'm sure this can happen anywhere at different times. I just read that at the Crystal Palace someone felt the characters were rushed, and we found them, a year ago, to spend a lot of time at each table. In fact, they came back so many times, we were running out of things to say!
