Donald's Breakfastosaurus

We had a 8 am PS here on 12/19. It was so much fun! Lisa was our server too, and we found her to be quite a character. We too laughed about the 'big deal' made about Krispy Kreme donuts as we pretty much grew up eating them too. The food here was quite good. We didn't really encounter any long lines at breakfast or in the park that day! The characters all had Christmas attire on that was really cute.

We will definitely have breakfast here again.

Wow. Shocked to see this thread again!:D
dislady-I did not do it later, we had 8am ps which is what I recommended.:D Maybe you are not asking me though! :p

southernwingz-YES! Lisa was great! Glad you enjoyed your breakfast there too! :D

We are going at 10 ish because we are going on an early entry day, off season, and I wanted to get a couple of hours of touring in first AND I wanted it to double for lunch. It sounds like a later seating on off-season, early entry makes for lighter crowds. (Here's hoping!)
::yes::

I was wondering why you booked your breakfast at 10:30 and not earlier. Just trying to get some feedback before I book ours. I am going back and forth betwwen getting in their early and eating or waiting till midmorning. I do not want to miss going through the oasis and seeing the characters when the park opens.

We're just back, and the 10:00 worked great. The only warning I would have is DO NOT check in early. They act as if that will get you in earlier, but it won't. We waited 40 minutes before getting in, time we could have used elsewhere, because I decided to check and see if they were ready for us. I was soooo upset. A very nice older gentleman host finally took pity on us and personally went in and got our table instead of waiting for the scheduler to do it.
Other wise, the breakfast was GREAT! Great food, great interaction with the characters, and our waitress, Lisa, was awesome.
I also did meet Kelma of the above post. That was very cool! Enjoy your breakfast! :)

I'm so glad you had fun, we love the breakfast there, although we didn't make it there this time. Especially in the winter time, it is just so warm and cozy there.

We just had breakfast at Donald's Sunday morning, the 8th at 10:10. I waited in line for 10 minutes just to check in, then a few more minutes wait to be seated. We thought the food was very good, but saw no characters while we ate. It took 45 minutes for any of them to come by, then we saw all four in 10 minutes. They seemed very rushed. Goofy spent more time with us than the others, but they were all through pretty quickly.

I'm not sure if we woud do this one again. If the boys wanted to, I would, but I wouldn't suggest it. I liked Garden Grill much better.

Hopefully I'll get around to writing full reviews on the restaurant board when we get back...yes...I'm DISing from Disney...LOL

I'm a big fan of going to AK when there is no early entry, and getting a PS at around 8 a.m. You're done breakfast by the time the park opens officially and can basically be the first in line for any ride. Though the guide books will tell you to visit the Safari first, I've done Dinoland (excluding the boneyard), and then gone to Safari. We usually have breakfast, and Dinoland done by 10:30. But that's me.:)

We are trying Breakfastasauras in May for the first time, to celebrate my son turning 5. (he turns five 2 days after we return home.) I will be making my PS in a few days, and I am wondering what time they stop serving breakfast? I'd like to make a late seating so that we can enjoy the park after...since that is the day we are returning home (late flight out: 8:45 pm!!) Do they do an 11:30 seating?

Thanks!

I see this thread popped back up again!:p We went back to the world this past weekend and did CRT. princess:
Anyway, I still think a 8am ps on a non early entry day is THE best time. You will be ready to hit the parks at 9am. You will be seated on time and nothing is backed up yet! The tables opening up on time and the character rotations seem to get out of sync as the day progresses, from what I gather reading these boards.
Glad to read so many of you had and enjoyed Lisa too!:D

Now we had an opposite experience than jcemom. Mickey was at our table right after we were seated, and then the others followed soon after, and several times. Donald even did a whole act with our server Lisa that was hysterical, stealing the coffee pots from her. We almost wished they hadn't come so often, the kids wouldn't eat.
So...I guess it depends on the day. Who knows why.
Have a great time!

We also will be at Donalds on May 9th. My son will be 4 on this day What days are you going and where are you staying? We will be at POR

we're trying Donald's for the first time next week. We made PS for 10:30 - wanted to catch the safari then head back to eat. Sounds like it's a great place - I'm getting really excited!

we are gonna try breakfastasaurus on 5/30. Im glad I read this thread as now I know I can book earlier than the park opens. That will be our first full day there and sounds like a perfect way to kick off the vacation with our 4 year old.

plus its memorial day weekend, so I expect MK to be much more crowded this day.

he is set on meeting donald right away and this is the only one that features him.
