Has anyone eaten at Animal Kingdom's Donalds Breakfastosaurus?

We made ressies for there in Sept. Want to know if it is worth a table service.

if you're referring to the DDP, generally they're 'wasted' on breakfasts because breakfasts are the least expensive meal of the day, but if you have no other desired plans for the credit, then by all means.

not one of my favorite dining locations personally, but i get the idea that if it's your first character dining experience or if you go later seatings, you're better off.

we ate there 2 weeks ago and it was great, our waiter BILLY was fantastic, Mickey came over and helped sing to birthday child(with Pluto and Donald too) Billy did ten different amazing magic tricks throughout our meal, he was the best most interesting waiter I think I have ever had anywhere! Food was buffet style, basic breakfsst fare, I loved it.. Billy offered refills of lemonade to take with us in the stroller and a banana for later on- Id do it again!:thumbsup2

We were there last month. We were on the DDP and no I would not waste a TS on it. It was OK but nothing that great. Characters were just OK and food was just regular eggs, potatoes, pancakes etc. Just didn't seem worth a TS to us. IMO, Linda

Thanks for the info, I have a 9 yr old son that loves magic tricks! I hope we get Billy as a server too! :donald:

I took DH here for a surprise last year (he loves Donald!), but I paid OOP for it. I definitely wouldn't waste TS credits on it. Save those for the expensive dinners!

My friend and I always hit this as our first breakfast of our first full day at WDW. Its our tradition I guess. We are actually doing it twice this year our first and last days. We love it. The food is good, the character interaction has always been good for us and the service is wonderful Hope you go and enjoy!

this was our least favorite meal on our last trip. we didn't like the food or where we were seated (very dark). we won't do it again...

We had a wonderful time at Donald's last year.:goodvibes The waitress was great. When my DH asked for ketchup she squirted fake ketchup on me and my DS thought this was the funniest trick he ever saw! The food was great and the characters were wonderful too. Have a wonderful trip!!:wave2:

We went in Dec for the first time and loved it. The food is very good and we had alot of fun with the characters.

We love it - it is one of our favorite places to eat in WDW. Thye have a great selection of food and super character interaction. They take your picture first and for us, they have always turned out really well. We have enjoyed those over the years and it is fun to see the kids "grow" up from the photos each time we go there. I would say you should give it a try no matter if you use the DDP or OOP.

One thing I've noticed about Donalds (at least from the reviews and my personal experience) is that the later your reservation, the more rushed you will be, you will have less time with the characters and the quality of the food will be poorer. We had reservations for 10:30 and were seated about 11:25 or so. They blocked one side off for the breakfast and the characters practically ran through. Didn't get very many pictures at all. I don't know that we will do this one again.

If you really are wanting to do donalds I would NOT use a TS credit on it. We paid out of pocket for all our breakfast meals, which all were char ones. I have to say Donalds was not impressive. It seemed much smaller than others, and is very cramped as far as seating goes. it's cute, but I think maybe once was enough to at least try it.

I really like Donald's breakfast. The food is good and the waiters are usually entertaining. I don't feel cramped or rushed while there. I can understand why you wouldn't want to use any TS credits on it, though. The breakfasts aren't that expensive.

We have done it twice. Decent food , nice enough surrondings. We mainly go since it is Donalds Showcase and our oldest son (9) is Donald's #1 fan. If you go it will be for the kids.
