We have added some extra time to our trip, so we get to go to the Animal Kingdom now..... Since we don't have any other character meals I am thinking we may want to try Donalds Breakfastosauras..... What are your experiences?
Thanks!:D

We have done it twice and it was great!!!! You can call for a PS up to 60 days out. Try to get the earliest eating (8:05 am), then you will be done eating before the park opens. The food is good and the characters are great!!!!

Our favorite tour plan at AK works great with the breakfast.

We do all rides in Dinoland and let our DS play in the boneyard when the park opens. We then do "Tough to Be Bug",right down the path from dinoland. Exit left and head to Kali in Asia. We work our way over to the Safari and get a FP for it. You can then do the Forst Trail while waiting for the FP time. We got everything done by noon on the sunday of Veteran's day weekend using this plan and did not rush at all and rode rides multiple times with NO Waiting.

We've done it once and thought overall it was very good. Food was so-so, but the service was good, and our server did a great job of making sure each character came to see us in a reasonable amount of time.

This is by far our favorite breakfast at WDW. The food is very good (the made to order omlettes are great) the character interaction is better than the other meals and the CM's are amazing.

This was a lot of fun when we did it last year. We will be going again in two weeks. The character interaction is great. The food is good also. I also agree with the previous poster about getting an early PS. This worked out great for us also. :earsboy:

We did this breakfast last year with (then) 3 y/o DS. It was great. It's a buffet, and the lines were never long (we were there in June) and the food was very good, especially the made to order omelettes. We had a lot of character interaction, and the place didn't feel too crowded like some of the character dining restaurants can do. We really enjoyed the whole thing.

This was our favourite character meal... the servers were basically *nuts*... full of fun and pranks...

Character interaction was good and the buffet was fresh, hot and plentiful... something for everyone.

Enjoy and I agree with an earlier poster to get the 8:05 sitting.. then you are ahead of schedule when the park opens at 9:00am.

>>^..^<<

Actually you can call 120 days out. I just made my PS this week for our August trip.
Dont miss out, it was a lot of fun on our last trip and the food was very good.

Love Donalds breakfast! Great food, funny servers and great character interaction. We go every trip!

We planned on doing AK on friday with the EE...because of being able to take adv of EE, would it be better to do the breakfast AFTER doing the Safari and seeing Tough to be a bug? What is the latest PS I can get? I wasn't going to do this meal but it sounds like great fun!!! We'll be at AK on May 23rd.

Crazy4mandms .. the last ps is 10:15 or 10:30. We've always gotten at 10:15 when I've asked for the lastest one. What we like to do is have a snack/breakfast in the room. Then our breakfast at Donald's is our "brunch". We don't eat lunch i nthe park, but will get a snack around 3. When AK closes we head to AKL to eat dinner at Boma.

This is the only CB I do every trip. In fact it's about teh only one I do, period. Ask for Neil, he's an absolute hoot!

Okay!! I'm talked into it!! We will grab a quick breakfast bar in the room, do the rides and then use the latest PS possible for an early lunch. I just realized, also, that my 7 yr old DS would never forgive me if I passed up the opportunity for him to greet Donald!! It is midnight on Friday night...hope I can still get a PS for May 23rd!!

We are also going in August and want to make p.s. now. What is the phone number to call or do we call the main number?

We thought it was fine...the food was good (DH loved the omlette station) and the character interaction was great. Our server was decent, but nothing outstanding.

The only thing that kinda upset us was the CM who was very rude after we let out...we weren't allowed two steps away from the restaurant until the park opened...we ended up up taking a small detour to guest services to let them know, and they gave us some fast passes for the Safari...which helped replace the magic that the CM took away. I realize he was doing his job, but he didn't have to be so rude.

We were pleasantly surprised and loved walking through the park (escorted of course) to the breakfast though...we may do it again, but we prefered Crystal Palace.

We did this restaurant on our last trip. Its a must!!

I have a question for all you regulars! Last time we were at Disney, we did this breakfast (loved it!) & they had a photographer there who took our photo... it worked out great! Do they normally have a photographer there?
