Thanks for the price update. After you post, that is the third different price I have seen. If that price is with tax, is the $20.99 listed on the Dis dining site the right price before tax?
Even so, it shows that a buffet that doesn't force the picture on you is considerably cheaper than one that does. I'd rather have the option not to buy and save the $$$.

As you'll see if you click on my thread link, the price is from Disney. I spent 45 mins on the phone with them checking prices. All Ears and WDW Info are frequently wrong, but in all fairness to them, Disney changes prices very often.

Tusker House Non Peak is $22.99 plus tax and peak is $26.99 plus tax. Tax is 6.5% and dining surcharge is $4.00/adult, so just take that from the $28.75 price, and you'll see it's $22.99.

you see more characters at Ashekus, CRT and Chef Mickey's. I always assumed that played into the pricing as much as the photo does.

You may see 1 extra princess character at Akershus or CRT, but Tusker House still has 4 characters: Mickey, Daisy and Goofy and Donald outside.

Not sure how they determine the price differential, except that for princesses, people seem to have no problem paying through the nose!

Last time we were there was Oct 2009 and Donald was not inside. So this morning my son asks if we're going to have breakfast with Donald again and although I do have a breakfast ADR there on our AK day, I am not sure if we will take the time to do this one.

It could have changed, but Donald used to be at the Cape May breakfast at the Yacht & Beach Club. Check into that if you have a Donald fan.

You can always ask them to take a picture with your camera. They usually say yes. We even managed to get them to add our picture with Cinderella onto our Photopass back in December.
