Donald/Rainforest transporatation question?

Hi all!
We are visiting AK in Sept and have PS at Donalds at 8am (not EE day). I've heard that you have a hard time getting into the lot early if you drive, so take Disney bus. (We are at POR) But, we also have a PS at Rainforest at 5pm. The park closes at 5pm that day. How late will the buses run? We don't want to get stuck at AK at 7pm! Can anyone give me info on whether the buses run late for AK? Or will someone in our party have to go back and get our car during the day? Or should we drive in the am (if they've changed the parking situation for early PSs?

The buses run quite early in the morning to get folks to the early breakfasts. At AK it is always a good idea to take the bus rather than your car or a cab.
As far as how long the buses run, they should be running for at least an hour after the park closes, but it's probably closer to two hours. You may want to have someone head back to the resort mid-day and drive the car back over so that you don't have to worry about being stranded.

We went to Donald's last May and we drove to the AK from the All-Stars we didn't have as problem and if they still run Donald's like they did then you stand in a line by the entrance and they don't let you into the park until 8 and they let the cars in by then....so I would just drive so a family member don't miss out on any fun!!!
