Donald Duck breakfast at AK???

Hi everyone

I have been reading alot of trip reports going back a couple of years, and I have noticed that a few people have been having a Donald Duck character breakfast at AK.

I didn't realise that there was a character breakfast there?

Can anyone shed any light on this???

It's called the Breakfastaurus (not sure about that spelling) and it features Donald, Mickey, Minnie and Goofy who come visit at your table. There was a selection of hot food, eggs, bacon that sort of thing, fruit, cereal and bagels. You help yourself to the food and wait staff come round to the table refilling your drinks. We have done it twice now and enjoyed it so will be doing it for the third time in December.

We went to Donald's Prehistoric Breakfastosaurus back in December 2004. It was very enjoyable with plenty of different breakfast items to choose from (cereal, bacon, eggs, pancakes, fruit, etc.) The servers were fun, too! We had our photo taken before we entered the restaurant and they brought a package round to the table. You don't have to buy the photos, but of course, we did!

By the way, the breakfast is held at Restaurantosaurus in AK.

We did this on our Honeymoon in June 2005 and we had a great time, even though we have no kids. The server was lovely and played a few jokes and we were seated next to another couple so we took pictures for one another.

Highlight of the meal, My Husband ate 9 Krispy Kreme Donuts (He says if we go back he will eat 10 ) and Goofy headbutted me, where I am just under five foot tall (Good things come in small packages you know!! ) He couldn't see me under his nose and I think he nodded his head and bang, It hurt just a little!

Anyway we highly recommend it!

I'm impressed That's a lot of donut's especially first thing in the morning

We always do the Breakfastosaurus on our first morning as a little tradition It was what DW and I did on our first morning of our first trip together in 2000 and we have done it on our first morning on every trip since
