I just checked my email and I did get in after all! I do have a question though. It says June 20th is the official day. But then it lets you choose a different day if you want. Does it matter what day you do this? This is my first one, so it should be fun!

I got in. My first Houseparty and so far I have one RSVP and 4 declines.... what happens if most of my guest list is out of town?

Also, what kind of stuff comes in the Party Pack? I'm a little worried about the $75 credit to buy their new pizzas. That's not going to buy a whole lot of pizzas, especially if they are supposed to be the new ones.

I got in as well and I asked the same question on the Domino's house party message board.

They give you $75 to buy the pizzas--However my area has 7 Legends pizza and they're $16.50 each (Not including tax!!!) so that's $115.50 to get 1 of each--If I stick to the 6 the house party has listed that's $99.

That leaves nothing left for anything else (drinks,plates,napkins etc)

Heck I'll be $25 in the hole before this thing even starts ((NOT including taxes ))

got in and am excited! For those that have alot of declines, dont worry about it, invite everyone you know via word of mouth and have a great time and enjoy the leftovers
I wont be spending over the $75 allowed, since I have to get drinks, cups, plates, etc...so I will just get whatever I can on that amount

I got in as well! There are some coupons on Dominos website. I think one is for a large American Legends pizza for $12.99? There are also some out there for free cinnastix with any order I think. I'm not going to really spend any extra (maybe $5) over the gift card either. It said there would be some coupons included in the party pack so maybe they will be good ones to use with the gift card?

I'm not sure how you figured you'd only go over by $5. Even if you did the $12.99 pizzas you going to be over by at least $10 and that doesn't include plates,napkins,cups and sodas.




Got my party pack today.

It had coupons for:
AMC movie theaters---Buy a large soda get a large popcorn free
Zobmondo games---$2 off any board game
Domino's---Medium Legends pizza for $10.99
Dominos's--Get a medium cheese pizza for $3.99 when you buy a large Legends pizza

The coupons say they can't be combined so I can use 1 of the Domino's coupons to offset a little.

When I signed up I figured it was going to be a pizza party thrown by Domino's and we'd get everything we needed---Now I'm going to be out almost as much money as they're giving us just to be able to do this.

You don't have to order every one of the pizzas. Sure, they want you to, but there's no way for them to know. If you leave one or two out, that's fine. The point is for them to get the word out...it's advertising for them. Will there be any less Domino's advertisement if you only order 5 of the 7 available pizzas? No. You don't have to spend more than they give you on pizza. And plates and napkins for your guests cost a couple of dollars? I have glass plates & cups in my house...I won't be spending a dime on those...just some time washing them after.

No houseparty I've ever done (and I've done quite a few) has ever given you EVERYTHING you'd need to have the party. Yes, some give plates & napkins. You are always going to be "out" some money, but look at what you got for free. They're giving you $75 worth of pizza.

To answer a PP's question about what happens if most of the guests are out of town...nothing at all. Neither houseparty nor Domino's are coming to your house to check up on you. Technically, they'd never know if you didn't have the party at all. Order yourself $75 worth of pizza & freeze it. Hand out the coupons to your friends & family. Take some pics of your family eating pizza & post it. Done.
