Dolphin's Cove Resort - Anaheim

We never stayed there, but we toured the resort last July when Fairfield was giving us their sales pitch. The resort looked pretty good espeically if you wanted to go into one of their 1bdrm units. It's a very conventent location to DL.

We stayed there.
I really liked it. They had lots of activities going on all day for when we took the afternoon break from the parks ( so that the little one could nap).
The cost was nice. We paid only $79.00 a night for a 1 bedroom. It was great having a full size frig and a full kitchen.
There were some odd things like maid service one or twice a week depending on length of stay, but its the norm when it comes to a timeshare resort.
My wife, mother and kids all love it.

The one cute thing is on the back fence there is a sign,
"Imagine, Disneys new park on the otherside of this fence."

Hope this was some help.

We stayed there about 2 years ago. We had a 1 bedroom for our family of 4 and it was a bit cramped, but other than that it was a great place! The location is great and we could even see the fireworks from one of the stairways at the parking area.

They had a bunch of things for us to do when we were not at the parks and offered a continental breakfast daily. I would definitely stay there again.

The one drawback is that the laundry room was teeny for the number of units, but that was a minor thing, hardly worth mentioning.

I'd definitely recommend it.

DH and I stayed there in Sept 01 (were actually there on 9/11) and again in May 02 and really enjoyed the property. It's very lush and pretty, with lots of great activities (especially for little ones). It's close to the park (bit of a walk, but less than 2 min in the shuttle). We stayed in a 1bdrm when we went and the a/c broke down  . We told the manager, and they immediately switched us to another (nicer!) room and comped us our last night free. The staff was very nice and helpful and the manager was great. There's a web site with some good pictures at:

If you have any questions, feel free to email me! Hope you have a great trip!

We are going to San Diego for a convention next year and wanted to go up to DisneyLand for a couple of days.

Is this resort within walking distance of the park? When we stayed an Anaheim 4 years ago we found a hotel that was within walking distance of the park, and that was very nice.

Thanks,
DJ
