Hi,
I know it is expensive threw Disney. Disney calls it Dolphins and stingrays. But when they explain it , they only talk about the Dolphins they don't mention the stingrays. My question is do they do both for the $180.00? If they do that won't be so bad. On your own it is $125.00 each. Pluse getting to the place.
thanks,

I'm not sure anybody can answer this question for you because Disney only recently added this excursion.

If you do it on your own, you'll need to take a taxi from the ship to Marigot, the French capital. From there, you'll take a taxi from Anguilla. Note that you'll need your passport or birth certificate to take this ferry as you'll be going from a French possession to a British possession.

If anyone has comments about this excursion, I'd certainly like to hear them.

Well, I can't offer any information on this yet but I did schedule five of us to take this excursion on the February 8th cruise. This will be our third trip to St. Maarten - now I can look forward to something new and exciting this time around!

This is really good news!!!!

We scheduled the Eastern purely because we wanted to go a specific week and that week happened to be the Eastern, but one of the things I liked about the Western was the Dolphins and Stingrays. My ten year old daughter will be estatic!!!!

This is one I don't want to miss no matter what it costs. Does anyone know if we can sign up for Disney excursions before the cruise? This is our first cruise so I am new to this. I want to be sure we don't miss out on this one since I am guessing it will be popular since it is a new offering on Eastern.

Thanks for your help.

you may sign up for Disney reservations 60 days before embarkation. You will get the info in the mail as soon as your final bill is paid or 60 days out.

Does anyone know if my DD4 will be able to do this? She will be 4 years and 8 months when we cruise.

I noticed on the Disney website the youngest age under the cost section is 5 years old.

I have a ten year old and a six year old and my husband and I discussed this last night and decided that $158 was too much to spend for our six year old because we think she would be scared and then "chicken" out. I am going to take my ten year old and my husband is going to take our six year old and do something else.

I guess you could call Disney and ask them about the age requirement.

When the youngest age listed under the cost section is 5, that means that children under age 5 are not allowed on this excursion.

We also have an under 5 year old child. We are a party of 3 adults, so we could easily take turns staying with my youngest DD while the other two adults are in the water. One of the things that I've considered is arranging our own excursions to get around DCL's age exclusions (as well as save some money and have a bit more flexibility in scheduling).

I've seen other e-mails on scheduling this one on your own and it sounds like the scheduling is pretty tight with the Ferry schedule to the other island. Also, since me and my daughter are going by ourselves I just feel safer being with a group from Disney.

Also, I have a question - does anyone know if you need a passport because you are leaving St. Martin - or if you are on a Disney excursion - will you need any form of identification other than birth certificate and drivers license? My husband and I are trying to decide whether to get passports.

Thanks.

Hi,
When we got our information it didn't list the dolphin and stingrays.I had to call and ask about it. They booked us without any problem. She told me we will be it the water about two hours between the dolphins and the stingrays. After we can snorkel and play on the beach. Then a lunch is served and we return to the ship. Sounds perfect to me.
