Dolphin/Swan and Starwood Amex Question

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I am interested in staying at the Swan or Dolphin and I came across the Starwood Amex. Has anyone used this for stays there? We do not fly ever and do not stay at hotels often, however we do you our reward cards for all purchases and pay off monthly. Have you found this to be a good reward card specifically for redeeming for stays at these WDW hotels?

Yes it is. We have used ours a lot and will have enough for 4 or 5 free nights by this May. You earn a point for every dollar spent. Aso you get 10,000 points just for opening the acct.
