I saw on the SeaWorld page, before they changed it, there was a tour you could take that showed you the difference between sharks and dolphins. You also got to touch a baby shark. My son really likes sharks and dolphins and I would like to take him on that. Has anyone done that and do they still do it? I know there was an extra cost of about $20 per person. Thanks

They never had a tour with dolphin/sharks maybe you were thinking of the predators tour. The predators tour shows you sharks and killer whales. You get to pet a baby shark and you go backstage at shamu stadium. Its $12 for adults and $10 for kids.

Yep, and it's $12 for adults and $8 for kids 3 - 9 y/o according to their web site.

That is a very reasonable price for him to get to pet a shark and go back stage.

Can you buy these seperate or at the gate? I am going to get my tix from a seperate website.

Yeah you have to buy them seperate. They are not part of you ticket for the park.

I know you spend about less than 10 min at shamu stadium and the rest of the time is at the sharks.

I think we might do this soon.

Sorry, I know that they are seperate, but can I buy them at different time then when I buy the main tickets or at the gate.

im not sure if you can buy them at the gate....
but yeah you can buy them at a different time then your ticket.

You can buy them by phone, web site, or at the tour counter (not at the gate) if there are still openings left when you get to the park.
