Do rooms at the dolphin have a small fridge? DH is going on a business trip and can bring us, we are getting a room with two beds (2 adult 2 kids) and proabably the least expensive room they offer (not that I'm complaining... I'm dong the happy dance cause we can ALL go!) Kids are 6 & 8 so I usually get a room with a fridge fo rmilk so we can do brkfst in the room (svaes a lot of time with kids) and power park that much sooner!!! :goodvibes any other input on the rooms or resort would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks :goodvibes

Yes, they replaced the mini-bar a few years ago with fridges.

They also have a service called Personal Pantry. There is a sheet where you can order items delivered to your room; there is only a charge for the item, no charge for delivery.

As Missytara said, all rooms at Swan/Dolphin have the mini dorm sized fridge.

I love the Personal Pantry service, the prices aren't super over-inflated like some mini bars & room service items.

We've been going to S/D for over 10 years for conferences, and they generally book guests attending one in "Run of House" rooms, which are standard rooms. However, they do take into consideration your status with Starwood, and will upgrade if possible, according to that.

Yes, we always use the mini fridge for keeping a few waters cold, milk and any leftovers... its great.

I always order a few Personal Pantry items as well. It is very easy and really the price for most things is not too bad

Have fun! :thumbsup2

We go to disney often but have never stayed at the swan or dolphin. If wer like it, we will consider it for future trips. What do you mean by status with Starwood? Is there some type of "frequesnt traveler" card we can get?
thanks :goodvibes

If your husband travels for work, he may be a Starwood member. If he's not, go sign up now at www.spg.com. You earn points for every stay at a Westin or Sheraton, and you can use the points for free nights. As you gain more & more points, you earn different levels - preferred, gold & platinum. Platinum always get a comp upgrade (unless the resort is full to capacity), gold is at their discretion, preferred not so much anymore, but it never hurts to have it on your reservation that you're a Starwood member!
