Dolphin Rates - can I do any better than this?

I have booked 15 nights at the Dolphin from Dec 26th using my Disney Club card which got me a Lake View half price at $193.69 per night, which includes the $8 per night Resort Fee.

As part of our stay is in January, do you think there will be any offers to cover that period of our stay? Does the Dolphin tend to do special offers for early January, or have I got as good a rate as I'm ever likely to get?

I think the dates you have chosen are over "peak season."

Your room rate is very attractive, I don't expect you'll get any lower unless a "code" comes out in the mean time.

Check back here on the DIS often between now and then.

Are you or anyone in your party a teacher, nurse, police person
or fire person ?
If so, ask for a special rate for your profession.

Are the police, fire or nurse rates the same as Governement rates or are there different rates for these professions?

What's a "resort fee" - the original post mentioned an $8 resort fee. I don't know what that is.

That rate sounds pretty good for the Dolphin - except I've heard of teacher, military and government rates being better than that.

you can ask to waive the resort fee...you don't pay it, but then you don't get any of the things offered in it. You can access that info, by clicking on the Swan and Dolphin link in my signature below.

Make the reservation, and then just keep watching for codes or other specials to be announced later on!

They're all the same @ $129.00 per night, which is an excellent rate!
