I just clicked on the DU icon for pricing for the Swan and Dolphin...
The Dolphin for my dates (4/15-4/18) came up $227.46 per night(Entertainment Rate/incl. taxes) and the Swan price was $197.91 (Entertainment Rate/incl. taxes)!
Both were standard rooms. I thought that the Dolphin was usually less than the Swan? We actually would prefer the Heavenly beds (queen) at the Swan any way.
I went ahead and booked the Swan because I'm getting alittle worried that I won't be getting a better rate any time soon--let alone a room during Easter week! I can always cancel and re-book if some great codes come out.
Do you think that this is the best we will be able to do during Easter week staying on-site? I would really like to try another WDW resort (we have stayed at AKL and BC) but, I just can't justify paying over $250. per night! We really aren't in our room or at the resort much anyway!
I think the price that I got for the Swan is about what I would pay for a value or moderate during peak season.
Staying off-site (or a DTD area) is starting to appeal more and more to me!
What do you think?
P.S. We are taking the 4 night Wonder cruise 4/11-4/15 so we are trying to keep within a budget! That's pretty funny, huh?
