Dolphin or Care Care

I am renting a SUV with National the last week in Aug. for 186 plus tax. On the National web site it gives me a choice to pick up at the Dolphin or at the Car Care Center. Which one is better, faster and has the better car selection?

Well, your only choice with National is at the Dolphin - they no longer have a desk at the CCC, only Alamo is there (unless something has changed in the past week). But I also find it's easier for me to get to the Dolphin - it's walking distance from Epcot or MGM (or Friendship boat), and a bus ride from any other park or DTD.

Melissa at the National/Alamo counter is great and will do her best to accommodate your requests.

I don't know whether they combined or what, but my reservation for National are still at CCC. It is the same company. We have always rented from CCC, and it has always worked out great.

Then this is news that National is back at the CCC. Here's a thread from a week or 2 ago that stated something completely different:

I do know that National is no longer available at the Car Care Center - just Alamo.

I check my rates daily on the National Web Site and it still gives the option to pick up at the Dolphin or CCC.

I just called and National is back at the Car Care Center.

I don't know about better selection, but the Car Care Center will pick you up. National at the Dolphin won't (as far as I know), so you're on your own to get there.

Thanks but I won't need a pick up as my dad is driving down and can take me over to either one.
