Hi All!
I was wondering if anyone has booked a "fireworks view" room category at the Dolphin? I was wondering where the rooms were located and whether it was a good view of the EPCOT fireworks? Any other pros or cons? We have stayed mostly at GF, POLY, CR, and BC. We enjoyed watching the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom resorts but have never stayed at the Dolphin or Swan so it is hard to know whether the fireworks view is comparable.

I’ve had a view from the Dolphin where we could clearly see the fireworks, but I did not book a dedicated firework view reservation. We could clearly see them from our window, which was nice because it was crazy cold outside in January the weekend we were visiting. I must say, the Epcot fireworks were rather small looking due to the distance from the hotel to Epcot.

We timed the music from YouTube from our phones to enjoy with the fireworks.

Post this on the Swan/Dolphin thread, and you will probably get responses.

We had a fireworks view room at the Dolphin this April. We have also had firework views at the GF and Contemporary. We were very happy with the view and felt you could watch the whole show. If you’re familiar with the resort, it’s the rooms that face the Boardwalk Bridge.

We have booked the fireworks view rooms at the Dolphin many times. You do get an excellent view of the high fireworks in the distance. You will not see any of the water level portions of the show. You do need to be aware that some rooms have balconies and some dolphins fireworks view rooms have windows. these are bookable categories, so if you prefer one over the other make sure that you book that as well as the view. Also note: If you book a king bed instead of the 2 doubles, you can request a corner room with both a balcony and a window.

One downside to these rooms is the long walk (along interior hallways) to get to your room. When you are tired, it can feel like a very confusing, long way from the elevator to your room. They are also more expensive than the resort view rooms. They are worth it, in y opinion, however. WDWbride2005 has a great picture above that is obviously of the view from her room facing the fireworks. That is pretty much what you can expect.
