Has anyone done this? I need to know if it is nice. Also, is blue lagoon island nice for relaxing by the beach? Is it clean?

We had a Shark encounter. Otherwise known as the hairbraiders and taxi drivers. ;) Sure someone can give you some worthwhile info for your questions here. Enjoy your cruise.:)

We did the dolphin encounter on the 10th of February and it was great! I would definately do it again! the boat ride there and back was very entertaining, there is a live band on board and they do lots of dances including the limbo! The beach was, in my opinion, very clean and there are lounge chairs and hammocks, and you can rent floats and things. There is a lunch provided and it was very good, you have a choice of hambugar, hot dog, chicken, ribs and you also get 2 drinks included.
As for getting to the boat in Nausau, i have heard alot about the hasseling of hair braiders, I had no problem, yes there were about 20+ that approached us (both DD and myself have very long hair) but a simple "no thank you" was enough and we were left alone. We also went to the straw market, I thought it was fun too!

We haven't done it, and I thought about doing it next September on our cruise, but several others have convinced me that Discovery Cove at Sea World in Orlando is a better experience (haven't done either, so I don't know for sure).

We have decided to go to Orlando early in September and go to Discovery Cove one day, and Sea World another, and Downtown Disney the next day and then get on our cruise. Then instead of getting off the ship at Nassau, we are going to stay on and ejoy the ship.

I am sure that which ever Dolphin experience a person does, it will be nice and a wonderful experience. We just love the ship so much and hate to give up time on board. If we had a 7 day cruise, we would probably do it as an excursion. The 3 day cruises go by SO fast!

Also,
can my 4 year old get in with the Dolphins? They give a price for kids over 3, so I figured they do. I just want to be sure.

I'm interested in whatever anyone knows about this. We're going to be on the 3 night Wonder leaving May 22. I've heard that booking the excursion will only allow you to do the Dolphin Encounter and not the Dolphin Swim. I wanted to surprise my 2 oldest DDs with the Dolphin Swim and the Encounter for my 4 year old. Has anyone booked directly with Blue Lagoon and had that experience?

I just booked the dolphin swim directly with the blue lagoon dolphin place. They have a very nice web site with all the information (sorry cant think of it right now, just go to google and type in swim with dolphins nassau) I sent them an e-mail and waited two days but no reply, so i just called them and made reservations. They were very nice! I cost 145.00 per person and this includes their boat to transport you. They will tell you to call another number to make your payment (they send you a fax that you need to fill out and fax back). This all went well without problems. My sister did this last year and the kids loved it. Thanks have a great trip.
