Dolphin charges all for parking

I'm a little discouraged that Dolphin charged me $8 a day to park my rental car while I stayed there. Do other resorts do this? They also charged to use the exercise facility.

I know the parking thing is in effect (been that way for around a year).
Disney resorts don't practice this.

As far as the extra $10/day fee, when I called to make our reservations last week, I was informed that there is no longer a "Resort Fee". Rather things like the exercise facility is now "ala carte". Perhaps this is new for '06?
