Having never been to the Dolphin, any suggestions about whether it's worth it to bring beach toys, towel, etc. or buy them there or what? We will be traveling by air and I'm not too sure what's best to do. We're newcomers.

Any suggestions and/or advice?

Thanks.

I know they rent inflatable toys (ie., alligater, tubes , etc.). As for towels, I have never brought my own when staying at a resort (WDW or otherwise). We always have used resort towels and usually buy beach towel souvenirs!
I am sure you know this but generally WDW beaches are "play in the sand only." Meaning no swimming in the water.
Have a great time at the Dolphin!

Great question! I was wondering the same thing!

I inquired by email to the Dolphin about renting beach toys and the answer came back that there were some for sale in the shops, but none to rent.

So, anyone else? Do we bring or do we buy?

if you have room, bring a couple of sand toys. I imagine they are expensive by the pool.

I bought a couple of rings and splash balls to throw in our suitcases this week, we are staying at BWI. I always forget to pack something and my kids are green with envy over others with toys.
