Dolphin and Dining

I'm looking for some help from veteran diners at WDW. My husband will be returning from the Middle East in December and we are planning to spend a week at WDW with the kids. But we want to have one nice dinner out for the two of us. We'll be staying at the Dolphin and want something nearby, we're thinking Epcot but would consider MGM or taking the boat to the Boardwalk or Yacht Club area. The meal doesn't have to be fancy but good and someplace relatively quiet. This is a somewhat last minute trip and we are complete newbies to WDW. Le Celliar is already booked. Please help...

You didnt mention the ages of your children or if you have arranged child care for them already, ex. disney child care clubs, but if you eat at Shulas Steak place at the Dolphin, they give you like 3 hours free for your kids at Camp Dolphin I believe. You could look at the menu on the allears website. Its pricey, but the free childcare might consider in your decision. Best of luck.

Thanks for the tip but my DS is only 2 so too young for the free childcare. MY DD is 5 and would love to go but we'll keep them together. We have an in-room sitter coming.

I thought the menu at bluezoo looked incredible. I haven't tried it yet, but we are going there on our January trip.

Have you looked at the pictures of the rooms at the Dolphin? I look they looked great
