Dolly Partons Dixie stampded

Has anyone been to Dolly Partons Dixie stamped I have just booked it as a surprise for my DH birthday hoping that it is good , also I have purchased the tickets form Orlando ticket deals and it says that we have to phone a number when we are in Florida to book the night we want to go has any one had the same experience and could they get the night they wanted ?

You can usually get the night you want if you call when you get to the US, they are rarely sold out. You can also call DPDixieStampede before you leave the uk if you dont mind the international call charge (its not too expensive, remember the time difference) and book then. It is the norm to get these types of vouchers and have to call when you buy the tickets in advance from uk vendors.

Also you should be at DPDS at least an hour and a half before the main show starts (if the show starts at 6.30, be there for at least 5pm), as there is a great pre show and a chance to look at the stables/horses etc. It all builds up to and links in with main show. If you don't go to the preshow you feel like you have missed out on something.

We really enjoyed our night there.

We also had to ring up and say which night we wanted to go, we had no problems and we were given great seats on the night that we wanted.

As KG1 says if you arrive in plenty of time you can view the horses and watch the pre-show, which we really enjoyed. We were also lucky enough to be chosen to take part in one of the stampede games (we won ) and we got a medal each which is a nice souvenir.
