Dollarama and Licsensed Disney items

I'm sure many of you already know but wanted to let those who don't that the Dollarama stores are loaded with licsensed Disney items. I just got back from the one at Victoria Park/Danforth (in Toronto) and saw loads of stationary item, pens, packs of pencils, notebooks, folders, staplers, erasers, rulers (many of these items in packs so great for loot bags.) They had Disney fanny packs for kids, wrist bags and wallets. Night lights and push lights, large gift bags. That's all I remember for now.

Our Dollarama has the same stuff. I bought tons of Disney stuff from Dollarama before our March trip. I gave the kids a new item daily. Also great are all the light wands and flashing things for the kids at night. My kids had tons of people ask where they got the lighties! S

They are Disney items we purchased some Pooh friendship day pins from there a few years ago that were all legit but honestly for pens and stationary does it really matter? I know I don't care cuz I am going to hell anyhow LOL so will my kids so a few non legit Disney liscenced items aren't going to make a difference to us.

I've seen the same sticker/stamp set at both the Dollarama and the Disney Store. The Disney Store sold it for $4. All the Disney Merchandise at Dollarama is licensed, and comes in complete packaging. You often see the exact items in other stores -- Disney Store, Wal-Mart -- for much more. It's just hit-and-miss what's available at the store.

Check all aisles. I've found Disney items at the check-out area, in the toy dept. (stickers), in stationary, in candy (pez), hanging at the end of unrelated aisles, kitchen dept (mugs). Ya never know

FYI Scarborough Town is a nice Dollarama - and then you can head right upstairs to the Disney Store

I use Dollarama for that stuff all the time-especially for goodie bags for parties, Easter baskets and Christmas stockings.

I saw a lot of that exact same stuff in our hotel gift shop and the Walgreens accross the street for $5 or more.

Our Dollarama has Disney (Pooh, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto...) Pez dispensers for 2 for a dollar!!! I can only imagine what I would have paid for those at WDW!

Just be careful. I bought a set of crayons and several were the same colour. Also, I bought these stamp marker things which have Disney faces on them. Looked like from the package that each marker would be a different colour but they were all blue.
Most the stuff is great though...
